Effective treatment for patients with cancer
Printer-friendly version
Depression has been found to be higher in patients diagnosed with cancer than that of the general population. This study looks at the use of a Collaborative Care model, which is referred to as depression care for people with cancer, and how effective it is to treat cancer patients. The intervention model involves a complete care team that works with the patient's oncologist and the treatment methods involve antidepressants and psychotherapy.
